A licensed reading specialist gives the TOD, the Tests of Dyslexia, here at Feller. The same tool psychologists use.

Same day resultsWhy we host these at the school
Too many parents spend a year being told to wait and see. By the time anyone tests, the child has already decided they aren't smart.
- Given by Wisconsin licensed reading specialists
- Uses the TOD, the Tests of Dyslexia, a standardized screener
- Kindergarten through age 21
- Open to any family. You do not have to attend Feller.
If the screening says yes
A screening tells you whether your child is at risk. It is not the formal documentation a school needs for an IEP or 504.
Our partner Dyslexia Evaluations handles that part: a full evaluation over Zoom in weeks, with a report written for school meetings.
See the signs? Don't wait and wonder.
Six questions is all it takes to start.

5405 Flad Ave, Madison
Is it really free?
Yes. No payment information, no obligation to enroll at Feller or to buy anything afterward.
Who gives the screening?
Wisconsin licensed reading specialists from Dyslexia Evaluations, under Dr. Lauren Zepp, Ph.D. in Special Education from UW Madison.
Is this a diagnosis?
No. It tells you whether your child shows signs consistent with dyslexia. A full evaluation is what produces the formal report.
The school tested my child and said they don't qualify. Should I still come?
Yes. Schools answer an eligibility question, not a dyslexia question. Bright kids often look fine on broad tests and still show a clear dyslexia profile.
Do I have to be a Feller family?
No. Most families who come are in public or other private schools.
