Sound Familiar?
- ✕Students Guessing at WordsKids using pictures and context clues instead of actually decoding — and it's not your fault, it's the method you were trained with.
- ✕Incomplete Phonics InstructionYou know phonics matters, but your curriculum doesn't give you the full system — leaving gaps that hold students back every year.
- ✕Struggling Readers Who Aren't Catching UpIntervention strategies that don't seem to move the needle — and students who fall further behind despite your best efforts.
- ✕No Framework for DyslexiaYou can see something is different about certain students, but you don't have the tools to identify or address it systematically.

Kimberly Feller-Janus, M.Ed.
Founder & Director, Feller School for Dyslexia · Dyslexia SpecialistKim has been teaching since 1988 and founded Feller School — Wisconsin's first dyslexia-focused K–6 elementary school — after discovering that the reading methods she had been trained with were failing her most vulnerable students.
After driving three hours to meet the author of Logic of English and discovering what she called "the Holy Grail" of reading instruction, Kim became a certified Logic of English Master Trainer. She has since trained educators across the region and brings both the research and the real-world results to every session she leads.
Her training isn't theoretical — it comes from years of watching these methods transform students who had been written off by traditional instruction. You'll leave knowing exactly what to do Monday morning.
